If you're reading this then you probably want to know more about how the new Tella renderer works.

• All videos created after June 2021 will use the new renderer by default

• The new renderer lives on a new page which has a new link (it ends with /view). See the difference between the old and new pages below.

• Some old videos (crated before June 2021) are be compatible with the new renderer, here's how to check:

  1. Open the video from the stories overview and if it takes you to the new view page, then you're in luck.
  2. If it takes you to the old view page, then your video may not be compatible with the new renderer. If this happens and you want to use the new renderer, send us a message at [email protected] and we'll try help you out.

• All your old videos can still be accessed from the old links and watched as normal (so if you've shared a link with someone or embedded a video somewhere, nothing will change — they'll just be using the old renderer)
